How i got into graff...

It all started when i started coming to sheffield on trains and buses. I was pretty young still. I remember starting to see tracksides and tags and the whole mystery of who these people are and how the hell they can do that.

I started seeing tags in areas of the centre; some, fase, mind, bs, ng, 142, casp, dent, paun and tief. Some was killing it and seeing how much he put up dragged me head first into the vortex i'm still in today.

I remember paun and tief killing the rooftops on the moor with pieces and throws. Hitting the spots you never thought was possible!

I loved the street side of graffiti but i needed to see much more and this is how i found urbexing before i knew there was a word for it. Me and my friends used to get in so many factories it was unreal, yet we mainly hung out and smoked in them. All the factories we had got in there was no graffiti and thats how it happened.

A year or so of going in derelict buildings and it felt so good being the first one in and the first to touch the clean walls. I was hooked. Yet by this time every factory we got in it was knocked down from the re-devolpment of sheffield. We found and got in 4 factories in one day, all to be knocked down the following week!!

So here i am today with the zine. Years down the line and the love of graffiti is still fresh in my heart. Still when i'm the first in a ndw factory the hairs still stick up on back of my neck. Still the first spray feels the best, and when you walk away you've done it for youself!

Fuck the haters, fuck the fame, im in it for life, all about the name game!

I dont do PO for money its 100% back into the zine and i hope when someone picks up a zine or looks at a photo they feel what i feel everyday when i see a new piece, a new dub, a burner, or just a cheeky tag. HOLLA
